We are going to move from a PowerHorn library to an SL8500 library. I
will be moving 9840 and 9940 tape drives to the SL8500. I know that the
WWN for the tape drives will change because the SL8500 will assign new
ones, therefore, I will have to change my JNI config file on my Master
Solaris box. I know I have to change the ACS Drive designation (ACS,
LSM, Panel, Drive) in NetBackup to see the drives because that is also
changed in the SL8500.

What I am not sure of is can I use my existing Storage Unit because I am
using ACSLS and that has not changed (or do I need to define a new one).

As for the tapes in the library, do I need to eject all of the tapes in
NetBackup or can I just move them into the SL8500 and do an inventory? =20

I only have about 12 hours to move the tape drives, all the tapes from
the PowerHorn to the SL8500, reconfigure the JNI file, and reconfigure
NetBackup. I am wonder if anyone knows of any other gotchas and what
else I am missing.
