entirely new architecture=2E for example I can restore mksysb=0D=0Aimage fr=
om P550 system to P690 or S-80 etc=2E=2E because DR vendor might not=0D=0Ah=
ave exact same hardware as your prod site ,so it is very useful feature=0D=
=0Ato have=2E that is one of the reason we have Netbackup running on AIX=2E=
 =2E =0D=0A=0D=0Amksysb also restores NetBackup code (bp=2Econf ,vm=2Econf =
) etc=2E=2E as it is=0D=0Ainstalled in rootvg ,so no need to reinstall Netb=
ackup and apply all the=0D=0Apatches all over again =2E=0D=0A=0D=0AIf you h=
ave hardcode IP address in hosts files ,then you will need same=0D=0AIp as =
prod site =2E I think NetBackup also records IP during the=0D=0Ainstallatio=
n =2E=2Eor you will have to edit bp=2Econf everywhere if you decide=0D=0Ato=
 change IP =2E=2Ebut I don`t think there is any reason to change IPs at DR=
=0D=0Asite ,because you want to restore exact same setup as your prod site=

 : yes you can configure two libraries =2Eonly one can be=0D=0Aused at a ti=
