Hi all,

after upgrade from 5.1MP4 to 6.0MP1
restore oracle database via RMAN failed with following messages:

    channel c1: starting datafile backupset restore
    channel c1: specifying datafile(s) to restore from backup set
    restoring datafile 00009 to /app/oracle/oradata/giada/users01.dbf
    released channel: c1

    RMAN-03002: failure of restore command at 02/27/2006 21:30:19
    ORA-19507: failed to retrieve sequential file,

    ORA-27029: skgfrtrv: sbtrestore returned error
    ORA-19511: Error received from media manager layer, error text:
       VxBSAValidateFeatureId: Failed with error:
       Server Status:  cannot connect on socket

into alert file:

    Full restore complete of datafile 9 to datafile copy
/data/recover_oracle/cancellami.dbf

on a 5.1MP4 (after rollback) work correctly !!!

Anyone have any ideas?
