I wonder if the type of failure determines this.  If the tape is frozen
because NB suspects it to be bad one probably doesn't want it to just
continue from that point.  If the tape was truly bad then you'd end up
with only a fraction of a backup.

I haven't seen it work properly yet.

I've got windows 2k3 boxes with 1/2 TB or so, that can get to 97%
complete, die with a 156, then start over from scratch.
:o/
Checkpoints set for every 15 minutes.
