I'm going to assume you mean what triggers a tape as being reported as
FULL in the available_media report output right?
Well, it's the same thing that bpmedialist uses. It's a flag within
the mediaDB record for that tape. That flag gets set when the tape has
reached end of media (EOM) during a write operation.
