If you want, the vault location information is stored in the VolDB and can
be changed using the vmchange commands.
I used to have my Ops folks run a "check-in" script that would change the
location information in the VolDB to represent a return to the datacenter.
Our tapes were shelved on return, not injected.
This used to keep the DB up to date.

You need to have the tape put back into the robot (assuming you are
using one) and inventoried. There is a command "vltinject" for doing
just that. Make sure to delete the containers once they are empty.
"vltcontainers" Read the man pages for both.
