The GUI is in fact changing the Registry. Most of the 'Windows Client'
entries changed from the GUI are Registry entries. If you want to apply
an exclude list, or communications buffer size, to a fleet of servers you
can use resource kit tools to change the registry entries. For the
exclude list it can get complicated as you may need to merge in any
existing list.

The full exclude list structure is complicated as it can have subsections
for specific policies and schedules.

It is not made any easier by being a MULTI_SZ string; use regedt32 to edit
it by hand rather than regedit. Or use the GUI!

My Exclude works from the GUI when connecting to the client :-) No need
for any reg fixes!
Is there any TechNote about this Abhishek for my records?

You can set the exclude list from GUI as well as from editing the registry
entry-:

Entry need to be edited -:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/VERITAS/CONFIG/Exclude .
