In NetBackup version 6.0 you can directly backup SPS 2003.... If I get
it working that is:
We are still using SQL Agent: I did not yet got the ne SPS agent working
... I'm getting error "71": "none of the files in the file list
exist(71)". In the bpresolver log I get the strange error:
"08:28:05.673 [5768.2772] <2> DebugLog(): ERR -
BEDS_AttachToDLE():FS_AttachToDLE() DeviceName:'Configuration DB
(ctao0001sql/SPS01_Config_db)' BackupReason:0x1 Failed!
(0xE000FE3C:Access to the device is not authorized with this edition of
Backup Exec. )"
We are not using Backup Exec....
I'm using a Windows 2000 Master, NetBackup 6.0 Mp1, SPS 2003 Sp2.

Michel Verbeek

Hi.
You need to have a licence for SPS. When you enter the key , the SPS
backup type will appear in the list.
