Don't forget to adjust the BPSTART_TIMEOUT or BPEND_TIMEOUT as appropriate =
unless the backup takes less than 300 seconds. :)

Hi,
=20
What I usually do is create a dummy policy to backup the boot.ini on the cl=
ient.
For THAT policy I create a bpstart_notigy script that runs the command to s=
top the db, run the backup using the bpbackup command with the -w option (=
dont forget to open a user schedule for the policy)=20
After the backup ends, it starts the db again.

Hi;

I want to learn is there a way to configure nb to send only one times run b=
pend_notify script for a multiple stream backup job.

We use bpend and bpstart notify scripts to stop start mssql server while ba=
ckup job running. It is working properly but in one of my server that have =
500 Gb data and backup time nearly 20 hours. We set multiple streams for d=
ecrease the backup time but this time we have a problem in the mssql. the b=
ackup jobs have multiple streams and when a streams ended it runs bpend not=
ify script and this script started the mssql server. but the backup job is =
running well so it cause the problems.=20

Is there a way to set bpend notify script to run only one time when the mul=
tiple stream backup job ended.

I am waiting your advices
