Agree. I've seen HP-UX servers with a bad filesystem. When the backup
was attempted it failed the the (41) network timeout. So take the
"Network" with a grain of salt. It indicates a potential starting point
for troubleshooting but you may have a deeper problem, such as at the
filesystem.

I've found these errors are generally caused by either a locked file on
the client or a filesystem that is just wonky (we had one that you
couldn't do an ls on b/c of the lack of free inodes w/ error 41's). Best
bet is to create a bpbkar log on the client and run a backup of the
filesystem that is causing the problems.

For the last 2-3 weeks I've gotten and error 41 Error
bpsched(pid=3D3668) suspending further backup attempts for client
schveriscan, policy Veriscan, schedule Sun_Daily_Cum_Inc because it has
exceeded the configured number of tries

        =20

I've increased the number of tries and increased the number for
client timeouts but did not work. I've double checked all of the
network connections and settings and everything seems to be fine.

Has anyone come across this issue before and if so what did you
do to correct it? =20
