[Veritas-bu] netapp snapshot backups

Anyone using snapshots on a Netapp to get a "point in time"
=20
ie, if you want to get a "point in time" backup of say 10am on a Monday
morning......rather than backing up directly to tape, over however long
that takes, do you take a snapshot of the volume using the Netapp tools,
then use netbackup to backup the snapshot data to tape?

is this possible? feasible?

I haven't found much about it.....looking up "backup snapshot netapp"
doesn't turn up many hits outside of describing what snapshot backups
do.
