This is a multi-part message in MIME format.
--------------050804080703060608070400
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

Actually that depends on the NDMP Data server and whether it support s
the FILES ENV variable in which case wildcards can be specified.
On the policy Backup Selection tab after specifying the directory to
backup and the TYPE directive enter
set FILES="<space delimited specific files or wildcards>"

I know it works for Isilon OneFS filers. Not sure about Netapp and others.

So I'm curious, what do you do? I'm always worried that someone's going to

include it...

Can you use wildcards in the backup selection when creating a NDMP
policy? We have a need to separate volumes when backing up because of
the size of this particular volume.
