As long as you don't have a few large AIX master environments to collect=
data from. We had high hopes for StorageConsole, but simply couldn't get=
it to run consistently in an environment our size, mostly due to the fact=
that we were running AIX masters and the code didn't seem stable. Our=
demos and our hopes were sky high, our real world experience wasn't nearly=
as gratifying.

Aptare was terribly responsive in trying to resolve our issues and, over=
time, things started to become more stable. By that time, Management=
decided to pull the plug. Sadly, we're back to our own rolled scripting=
approach to reporting. :)

It's one thing to sit threw the webcast but I'd recommend that you try the=
onsite Demo.=0D
Aptare will give you an agent to install on your master server. The agent=
will send backup job information to aptare and you can review it on their=
portal.=0D
Aptare will want executive/management signoff on the demo but it's well=
worth it and your management will enjoy the reports too.=0D
