Hi bob
Is system state in a seperate stream?
What about specifying the local drives, rather than all local?
Reboot the client machine and if possible check the client logs or logs on
the NBU Server.
Also, verify you can connect to the client, using IP and more important the
name!

Hope this is of some help

Dear fellow backup admins,
I am having some problems backing up system_state on some servers.
The problem seems to be intermittent. I am using ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES
and all of the other drives backup without any problems.
It's just the system_state that is giving me this intermittent error.
Please give me some ideas.
I am Windows challenged as I anm a UNIX admin.
Thanks
Bob Stump
