I have backups on media that have a retention policy I will exceed sooner
or later. I asked
our support vendor a year ago about how can I assure that the data and
catalog stuff will not
go away on me. They said all I need to do is do a bpmedia - freeze -m
VOLNAME. Is this true?
Will the catalog data stay as well?

Thanks
