Nothing happening on the server. All is normal. This problem
showed up about 3 days ago and it is on the same filer on the same
directory. other directories on that filer are ok. Its weird. It has
worked fine in the past except for the last 3 days.

Yes the problem here is that it is backing up NDMP, a
nas filer so there is not client there. That is what got me stumped. all
indications point to a software mismatch.

The only time I recall seeing this (and it was a long
time ago) was when there was a problem software wise with the end client
I was trying to backup! I ended up uninstalling the client /
reinstalling, removing and readding the client in Netbackup and it
seemed to sort it out!
