If it's a full time position, I would say 1 person and a secondary
person as a backup incase the main guy is out.
I have never dealt with a powderhorn before though, only L80 & L700.

I'm just curious on how other business entities are staffed around
backup & disaster recovery.=20
I'm trying to get a feel for how many people should you need to do a
adequate job supporting a backup system.=20
Is there someplace you can go to see what experts say you need for
support and administration of x amount of systems?=20
How many should it take to do the following tasks below: 1 person!=20

We backup apprx. 200 clients. One master & two media servers.=20
All sorts of mixed backup types.. Sql, Oracle, Novel, Microsoft,
Solaris, Aix, etc.. etc.. etc..=20
Support STK powder horn 5500 slots and 12 LTO Gen2 tapes drives.=20
Support NetApp R200 32 TB .=20
Do all upgrades patches etc. on all stuff.=20
Take care of all restores and SLA / Policies.=20
Do all research and recommendations on future Backup & DR projects..=20
Monitor and watch all reports.=20
Document system etc...=20
And anything else that comes along..=20
