So tapes out of library that are scratch. If you need your scratchpool
name, you can get it by "vmpool -listscratch"
vmquery -pn <Scratch_pool_name> -w | awk '$8=="-" {print $1}'
The eighth field of vmquery is the robot number. It's filled with a dash if
the tape isn't in a library.

Yes. Sorry I was not clear. I have empty slots in the L700 that I want to
fill with blank/scratch tapes. I want to get a list of the tapes in the
library room where our offsite tapes are stored that are blank or have
expired so they can be added back into the L700. I have some new tapes that
will go in but not enough to fill 300 slots.

If the tapes are in the library, why do they have to be added to the new
slots? Aren't they already in slots?
Do you mean out-of-library tapes (scratch/blank tapes?) that can be now be
added to the library?

We have a L70 library and are adding a storage expansion cabinet that will
add just under 300 more tapes slots. How can I get netbackup to produce a
scratch report of all tapes in the library so they can be added to the new
slots? We are running the vault option but that only produces small amounts
of tapes each week to be swapped around. Any ideas?
Thanks
Greg
