      Not sure what you are asking here.  Do you want to control the 
volume name of the tape?  If so, I named 10 LTO1 tapes using the following:

/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/bplabel -m A00005 -d hcart -p 
NetBackup -host backup -n LTO1

      I ran into this one when I first started also.  What you need to 
do is touch a file called "NO_STANDALONE_UNLOAD" in the volmgr 
directory.  So for my Linux install(RedHat AS3) I did the following:

[root@backup volmgr]# touch /usr/openv/volmgr/NO_STANDALONE_UNLOAD

      Then I think you need to restart.  After that, NB won't be 
constantly ejecting the tape.
