There is probably a reason the drive is going down, any SCSI diagnostic
codes?

Have you called your representative of the robot/drive and ask them what
the diagnostic / error messages mean?

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Tpautoconf -t

Hello all,

I have 4 tape drives showing up on a Windows host. They all show up in
device manager and all show up under netbackup when I run tpautoconf -t.

Now one of the drives has gone down and can not be up'ed or reset. I run
tpautoconf -t again and the drive is now gone. In Device manager, the
all 4 drives are still on the host.

Is there a command to rescan drives so that it will show up under
tpautoconf -t?

Thanks,

Kris
