Try any or all of the below:
1. For each CPU in the host you're backing up change the default value
in TSA.CFG from
Read Thread Per Job: 4 to
Read Thread Per Job: "x" (where "x" = 4 * # CPU's in the system)
2. Consider lowering the NSS Cache Balance (typically defaulted at 85)
to something around 50 or 60.
3. For "Target" NetWare clients, the default "buffer_size" in the
BP.INI file is 32, try changing that to 64"
buffer_size = 64
4. And of course, if your Network infrastructure, media server and
client can support it, a 1Gb interface will help.

Netware volumes "NSS". I'm
looking for ways to improve how much data I can push through the Novell
server to tape.
Running Solaris 10 Netbackup 5.0 mp4 on media master server.
Novell is 6.5 support pack 3. Using latest tsafs.nlm etc..
