You cannot do this with VxVM alone.  If you are using NBU, VxFS, and VxVM,
then you can use NBU's Block Level Incremental Backups to do what you want.
This basically automates the process of creating a baseline no-data snapshot
of a filesystem (at the filesystem level), then uses VxVM and VxFS to
compare the baseline to the current state at each backup and then backs up
only the changed blocks. You can set up Fulls, Cums, Incrementals, etc.
