You are not supposed to be using System_State:\ with Windows 2003.
You need to be running Netbackup 5.1MP2 or newer for Windows 2003 and
use the Shadow Copy Components:\ option.

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Problems with W2k3 system state backups.
=20
Hi there,
=20
Has anyone come across a problem with system state backups on a windows
2003 server?
The reason I ask is that for some reason backups of the system state on
some of our w2k3 servers is now taking in excess of 9 hours! as far as
we can tell nothing has changed, no service packs/hot fixes recently no
other software / hardware changes either. System state backup jobs are
just taking forever.
=20
master.media server 5.0MP4 running on w2k3 server.
=20
Any advice would be appreciated.
=20
Best Regards,
Bill.
