Forgive me if this has been asked before, but I see the following in the
bptm logs and I can't figure out why I'm getting a "Not enough space"
error. The tape doesn't appear to be full and no backups appear to have
failed because of the message:
15:55:53.004 [199] <8> io_read_block: read error on media id CA1547,
drive index 0 reading header block, Not enough space
15:55:53.004 [199] <2> io_position_for_write: error, rewind and retry
15:55:53.005 [199] <2> io_ioctl: command (5)MTREW 1 from (bptm.c.6589)
on drive index 0
15:55:53.075 [160] <2> io_position_for_read: locate block is done
15:55:53.076 [160] <2> io_read_back_header: drive index 1, reading
backup header
15:55:54.475 [29817] <2> db_lock_media: unable to lock media at offset
31 (CA1547)
15:55:54.595 [29817] <2> job_monitoring_exex: ACK disconnect
15:55:54.595 [29817] <2> job_disconnect: Disconnected
15:55:54.604 [29817] <2> bptm: EXITING with status 0 <----------
Interestingly, the problem appears to be intermittant. Any idea what
causes this?
-Aaron
