Not much to tell on this, but here goes. (Found all info by trial and
error, but JR did give me a hint to start with).

This is a Unix environment, so no one tell me about setting my archive bits.

The is a passed parameter to a client from the master called "-dt" (JR clued
me in on the meaning). DT is the "delta time". If you turn on the bpbkar
logs on your client you will see the exact command sent to the client from
the master. (you can see the short version by doing a "ps -ef | grep
bpbkar" ).

The "-dt *" is passed as number of seconds. A full will show "-dt 0"
meaning get them all. The Incrementals (my quest) will show the number of
seconds from the last successful backup for the client for the POLICY. NB
compares the "mtime" with the number of seconds. If mtime is less than dt,
the file gets backed up (meaning the file was changed since the last
backup).

If you look on your master [netbackup/db/images/client/ ], you will see when
the policy ran on the client.

My problem (incrementals were missing files) were created by a specific list
of files being moved under several directory levels. They should not have
been skipped, but there were several strange things going on during the time
of the skipping.
