[Veritas-bu] Netbackup clients with gigabit interface

All of our clients use gigabit interfaces. Our throughput ranges from 800
kps to 5 Mps depending on file size on the clients and number of streams
running at the time. We run a max of 8 streams per client and 4 streams
per drive using two drives. We have tried tweaking the throughput using
the streams but haven't spent much time investigating any other method. If
anyone has a system to tweak the throughput we would like to try it.
All systems are Win2K
Backing up files ranging from excel/word docs to Unix file system backups
and SQL database backup to 40 GIG.
1.5 TB total backup

Is there someone on this list using gigabit interfaces on the client
machines?
If so, what has been the backup throughput? Is there a special netbackup
tuning
to improve performance?
