Did you use bplabel to zap the (existing) label on the tape?
If not, then N/B will reject it when trying to use it for a regular
backup.

I had a tape accidentally get used as a catalog backup tape last week.
I have deassigned, deleted, expidated, you name it I have tried it, but
they still FREEZE when used for backups as the system still thinks they
contain Catalog backups. =20
I searched the archives and searched google and didn't see a resolution.
Anyone had success doing this?
