Ok, bad form, following up your own post, but here is what I have been
attempting, and the problem I'm having.

The two physical nodes of the cluster share a common volume "Q:\" called
the quorum.

The quorum only exists once...ie, each compnent system does NOT have its
own quorum.

Do you back up the quorum as part of one, or the other physical
components?

How do you restore the quorum? I've been told that it is, in effect, a
constant "open file", that you can't really restore it....

I've backed up each physical component, (C:\, D:\ and System_State:\)
individually, then backed up the common resources.

I blanked out everything on the common disk array, and removed the OS
disks from the physical nodes.

In preparation for restore, a fresh "bare bones" images was installed on
the physical components, and the "resources" were created (Quorum
volume, Q:\, and 4 drive volumes, R:\, S:\, T:\, and U:\)

I restored C:\, D:\, System_State:\ to each physical node, then shut
each one down. I then booted each node individually, to clear any
"windows was shutdown inproperly" errors, then booted both machines....

Upon coming up, the cluster resources would not start on either
machine...the error was something to the effect of "missing cluster
resource, corrupt quorum."

Am I missing something?
