Hi,
I've got a Solaris 9 box running Netbackup 5.1. It works fine for our various
Solaris, Irix and Linux machines. However I'm having some problems with my
Windows Server 2003 clients.
They are running 5.1 as well and most of the time they work fine. However
sometimes a few of the clients jobs fail with a status 1 (partially
successful).
Here is an example of one:-
# bperror | awk '{if ($6 == 6732) print}' | grep WRN
1113427517 1 4 8 netbackupserver 6732 6731 0 windowsbox bpbrm from client
windowsbox: WRN - can't open file: C:\Documents and Settings\All
Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Network\Downloader\qmgr0.dat (WIN32 32:
Unknown error)
1113427517 1 4 8 netbackupserver 6732 6731 0 windowsbox bpbrm from client
windowsbox: WRN - can't open file: C:\Documents and Settings\All
Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Network\Downloader\qmgr1.dat (WIN32 32:
Unknown error)
1113427749 1 4 8 netbackupserver 6732 6731 0 windowsbox bpbrm from client
windowsbox: WRN - Removable Storage Management: unable to export database
(WIN32 21: Unknown error)
Has anyone come across this? How come the netbackup client can't read the
files?
(I don't really want to maintain separate exclude lists across all our
servers)
Regards
