I am having some problems with intermittent status code 50 error 
messages on Netbackup Enterprise, running on Windows 2000 server, when 
duplicating disk based backups to a stand alone tape drive.

Sometimes the jobs run fine, no errors. Other times they crap out after 
an hour or two with no useful hints in the bptm, bpjobd, or bpdbm logs 
as to what the problem might be.

The master server/media server is a Dell PowerEdge 2650, with Netbackup 
5.0 MP4. The tape unit is an LTO2 Overland Storage. The disk array is a 
Cybernetics 1.8 terabyte RAID. The backups to the RAID array run fine, 
no problems. We're getting the status code 50 when duplicating the disk 
based backups to tape for archival storage, and like mentioned before, 
sometimes they work fine; other times they bomb out.

Any suggestions?
