I will try that. Most of the time we use the system account. We had to
do the restores to an alt Exchange server. The original server is having
massive array issues.

try running the restore from the client while logged in as the
username that the backup job was originally executed as. I.E. if you
have an account called "backup" or something similar that owns backup
jobs for exchange, log in as vback, not your user or administrator.
The database agents are picky about such things.
