SO I'm doing some testing/troubleshooting of Exchange backups/restores
(full SG backup/restore, not mailbox level.)
=20
The Exchange Admins are telling me there is only 500Gig of data on the
system, but I did a FULL restore yesterday of the 4 storage groups and I
see the following in Activity Monitor:
=20
SG1 - 244977365KB
SG2 - 341111422KB
SG3 - 213863562KB
SG4 - 155591232KB
=20
Which adds up to ~900 Gig
=20
Browsing the Backup, Archive and Restore GUI, I see the following:
=20
SG1 - 162.5G
SG2 - 226.75G
SG3 - 99.9G
SG4 - 70.0
=20
Which is about 660 Gig.
=20
Why the descrepency?
=20
what is the easiest way to see what is on tape? The backup is expired
from Activity Monitor, and therefore bpdbjobs.
I can't imagine NB could restore more tha what is on tape. Is the
reporting wrong for the restore?

Paul
