After upgrading to MP4 my intermittent error 13
problems with NDMP backups seem to have gone away. 
I'll know more after running it for a week or so. 
Also note that when I called Veritas they complained
my OnTap version was not supported.  Aparently they
have a list of which versions work and which ones
don't.  I don't think this was the problem, but it's
interesting to know that in the 6.4 ontap line certain
versions are not supported.
