hi,
has anyone been using HP MSL 6060 Library with FC router card (e1200-160
Network Storage Router) under nbu - it's equipped with up to 4 LTO2 drives.
robotics and drives run scsi, but the router card gives the FC functionality.
veritas says it is supported in nbu 4.5 with firmware 4.14.
the question that stands behind this email is: does this library and the fc
router produce any problems? the router has only 2 fc links (one link is for
top two drives and robotics, second link is for two bottom drives)? does nbu
have any problems with operating with this library? any special knowledge
needed?
and also, has anyone tested the FCP2 functionality of this router card? i
have bad experience with scsi<->fc bridges. the firmware release notes of
course says fcp2 is supported.
regards,
