Eric,

Only use VSP where necessary, and then change the settings to use a minimum
of 50MB and a maximum of 350MB. You can adjust the upper limit, but try to
keep it below 2048MB. HTH

Thanks,

We have had these issues as well, I'm trying to get VSP to work, and I have
been successful on a few servers but some Open files on other servers just
Won't get backed up even with VSP.

Unfortunately - VSP requires 30% of the used space for free space on each
disk that is being snap shotted, that's a lot - especially if you have
500gig
Then you need 150 gig of free space for VSP.

This note has some information that might be helpful? Or not?

Has anyone used the Microsoft Snap Shot with 5.0 + with success?

Thanks

We have had numerous issues with VSP that mainly consist of the snapshot
volumes being left behind taking up disk space. In extreme cases, it has
forced a hard reboot of the system. Unless it has been proven that VSP
is needed for a given machine, we generally end up just turning it off.
