Good Afternoon,
I am looking at backing up a fair amount of data (5 TB) and for
reasons beyond my control we would like to avoid any sort of array based
disk replication or snaps, or mounting replica volumes to a media server.
Does anyone have any good tricks for moving large amounts of data over a
network? I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to split RMAN streams
from a single host to multiple media servers, or has anyone had success
with interface trunking on Solaris with Netbackup? I am running Solaris 9
clients and media servers with NB4.5FP5 and Oracle9i.

Kind Regards,
Jason Crossley
