We did. It still doesn't work.

A bpdbm process and a bpsched process start up, then seem to hang there
forever. Veritas support says, "Everything's fine," but it obviously isn't.

remove the ndmp storage unit in the master, and re-run the db backup.

The other admin powered off an EMC Celerra box that was an NDMP server on
our NetBackup Data Center 4.5 MP6 setup. Now the DB Backups won't run. A
series of backups finish, and the server hangs. From what I can gather from
the logs, it appears that it's waiting on the NDMP server and never times
out.
