Just from reading this mailing list and assuming NetBackup is just used
for relatively short-term backups and not long-term archiving, I'd look
very hard at starting at ground zero (no data) on the new master
server! If the old hardware could be kept for a few (weeks?), the
client might be thankful for the cost savings and simplicity. Just a
thought.
