I am running into the problem described in this post:=20
http://mailman.eng.auburn.edu/pipermail/veritas-bu/2001-February/002564.
html
I have looked into it and I am able to provide some additional
information about this problem.
A simple bpstart_notify script works fine.
If the script contains the "rsh ... su ... -c ..." command, the control
never returns to the next command of the calling (bpstart_notify) script
after the rsh command is run.
However, the problem does not occur when I run the script from the shell
command prompt. It only occurs when the script is run in the context of
NetBackup.
The original poster did not get any reply.
Does anyone understand this behavior?
Thanks,
Gabi Goldstein
