We have just recently moved from a STK9710 with 4 DLT7000s to a i2K with
6 LTO2s. The thru put and responsivnes is very good. There are a few
items to watch. But most of those are dependant upon your site and
security situation. I had some strong feelings about leaving STK and
was pleasently supprised with the results we've been seeing.

Hi, I am looking at replacing the tape library within my managed
server environment and was looking for some opinions on the choices.
Currently I am using a StorageTek L700 with DLT8000 drives and I am
looking at replacing it with the ADIC Scalar i2000 with LTO gen 2
drives.=20
I would be grateful for any information/opinions regarding the
two system choices in particular the ADIC i2000 as I have no previous
experience with this model.
