Hi all,
Thanks for all the replies.
It turned out we didn't need to reboot because while re-creating the
NDMP drive, we messed up the SCSI ids for the two drive that's
attached to the filer and the master server :)
once we corrected that, the filer was able to see the drive and
everything's fine now.
