        You can use the bplist,

Ex.:

        bplist -c <client_name> -s <begin_date> -e <end_date> -l -R /musics

Assunto: [Veritas-bu] How can I list specific files from backups

I can go into the Admin console gui and pick backup/restores on the master
server. I can add a specific client and make that client current. I can
put in a date range for the client and pick a file type (i.e. *.mp3) and get
a listing of all of the mp3 files that have been backed up.

My question is "How can I do this from a command line and direct the output
to a file?"

I think that I can turn on a log file to show what command was run in the
gui (/usr/openv/netbackup/logs/??). If I knew which log file to create,
maybe that would show me what I am looking for above.

Thanks.
