I've been doing synth. backups for a few months and they have worked
great. 
Tuesday of last week I decided to send my INC's to disk staging and
then do the synth. cumulative with the last synthetic full the inc tapes
and the incs from disk staging. I ran the job several times with errors
665(below) and error 662. Documentation on the error is not too good. I
am waiting on Veritas to review logs. So I thought I'd throw this out
here to see if anyone has experienced this problem.

The bpsynth process received the termination notice from bpcoord. This
indicates an error condition encountered by bpcoord. It is possible that
a bptm/bpdm reader process on the media server encountered an error
either with the network or the media or the drive used to read the
media.
