It sounds as if you have all of the media servers listed on each client
in the same order.  If that's so - then the system will try to attach to
the failed server and wait to time out.  You can adjust the timeout
period or better still - change the order of listing on the clients.
It's a little more effort but in the end would serve you better.

        Hi all,

        I have more than 25 media server (SSO) in my backup environment.
When one of the media server unavailable (eg: down) will cause all
backup jobs to delay and in queue for very long time. The solution is to
remove the storage unit which belong to the affected media server.

        Anyone have better workaround other than removing the storage
unit?
