Solaris 9, 08/03 Release 112233-12
We have a L180 with six FC LTO-II drives, I spent a long time tuning the
system to get these drives to fly. Bottom line:
1) Don't touch st.conf
2) Install the latest LTO-II drive patch [113277]
3) NET_BUFFER_SZ=262144
4) For my system [V440, 2 x Ultra-II 900MHZ, 8GB memory],
/usr/openv/netbackup/db/conf/NUMBER_DATA_BUFFERS=512,
/usr/openv/netbackup/db/conf/SIZE_DATA_BUFFERS=262144
Using a multiplex value of 3, I see 50-60MB per sec average, can peak at
90+MB per second
