Harry,

Are you referring to the output of bperror and/or the logs kept in the
netbackup/db/error directory?

If so, here's the way I parse it in perl:

my ($stamp, $nbuVersion, $typeCode, $severity, $masterServer, $jobId,
$jobGroupId, undef, $client, $who, $msg) = split / /, $datum, 11;
