Thank you all for the responses. I think crontab the bpimage -cleaunup
-allclients command is what I really needed. I was suggested the
command after I got tired of using bpimmedia to check for expired
images then use bpexpdate to rmove the copies from snap drive storage.
My question was why wasn't this process automatic? You said that it
could be that the scheduler was not started due to constant
activities, but that's not really the case, there are extended periods
that nothing was running on NBU and still. So the question is still
why?
Some of you also suggested looking into the log for errors, but first,
I'm only concerned with the images on disk, so there isn't a problem
with the tape medias, and second, there was no errors.
