Hi

Anyone recommend sequence one should follow to configure 1 robot and 6 tape
drives between clustered master server and 3 (pairs) of clustered SAN media
servers

Using NetBackup 5.1 on a FC SAN

Is this the correct way:

Install NetBackup in cluster on master server - on active node using device
wizard add robot and six non SSO drives then fail over and do the same
again, fail back

Change the drives to shared drives and share the drives with the virtual
server's names for the 3 SAN media server clusters.

Will the share drive information be configured for the passive nodes of the
other three clusters or does one have to fail the three clusters over and
redo the same, what happens to the passive node in the master server cluster
will it too have the shared drive information

Kind Regards,

Imran Khan
