Samuel,
We have recently been through this and the opionion is there is no need to
use any modified st.conf settings for a LTO-II drive, just make sure you
have the right patch for Solaris.
Our LTO-II work very well and we can get them writing at 80-90MB per sec
with the Sun drivers.

Subject: [Veritas-bu] SUN st.conf vs IBM Drivers for LTO2 drives
All,
Does anyone know if there is a preference (or requirement) that
would indicate wheather or not we should use the SUN supplied st driver
or the IBMtape driver? We know that we shouldn't have both online - but
we are undecided which one is best to use.
Thank you,
