[Veritas-bu] Copy AFS Volume from tape to disk

I need to copy an AFS volume backed up by Veritas netbackup from the
tape to disk.

I have been successful in using "dd" to copy the file, but I have
problems positioning the tape within the image to the correct volume.

Does anyone have experience reading the bitmap output from "bpflist" and
know how to position the tape at the precise start of an AFS volume on
the tape?
